Article 261.- Implementation effect
1. This Code takes effect as from January 1, 2006
2. This Code supersedes the Vietnam Maritime Code of 1990.
This Code was passed the XIth National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 7th session on June 14, 2005.
