To implement the Prime Minister’s directions in the meeting of standing members of the Government on May 07, 2020, better meet people’s transport demand, resolve difficulties and promptly resume business operations of transport enterprises while preventing the spread of COVID-19 for vehicle operators, vehicle service attendants and passengers, the Ministry of Transport would like to request you to perform the following tasks: 

1. Directorate for Roads of Vietnam, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietnam Maritime Administration, Vietnam Railway Authority and Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration shall notify transport businesses of resumption of domestic operation of passenger vehicles (buses, taxis, passenger road vehicles, trains, aircrafts, watercrafts, etc.) from May 08, 2020 at 12 AM.

2. Directorate for Roads of Vietnam, Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietnam Maritime Administration, Vietnam Railway Authority and Vietnam Inland Waterways Administration shall intra vires cooperate with Departments of Transport and Department of Transport and Construction of Lao Cai in monitoring local passenger transport situation and promptly handling incidents arising; and continuing to implement measures against COVID-19 on passenger vehicles in the new situation according to regulations.
