DECISION

APPROVING THE PARTIALLY ADJUSTED MASTER PLAN ON CAT BI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN HAI PHONG CITY THROUGH 2015, WITH ORIENTATIONS TOWARD 2025

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the December 25, 2001 Law on Organization of the Government;

Pursuant to the November 26, 2003 Law on Construction;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 08/2005/ND-CP of January 24, 2005, on construction planning;

Pursuant to the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 1232/QD-TTg of September 7, 2012, approving the adjusted master plan on Cat Bi international airport in Hal Phong city through 2015, with orientations toward 2025;

Article 1. To approve the partially adjusted master plan on Cat Bi international airport in Hai Phong city through 2015, with orientations toward 2025, with the following principal contents:

1. Name of the project: The partially adjusted master plan on Cat Bi international airport in Hai Phong city through 2015, with orientations toward 2025.

2. Location: Cat Bi international airport, Hai Phong city.

3. Partial adjustments to the master plan:

To remove 13 hectares of land for national defense (north of the trunk road) out of the planning boundary of Cat Bi international airport.

4. Targets of the master plan:

a/ The total area of the airport by 2025 will be around 488.02 hectares, including:

- Land managed by the civil aviation authority: 175.7 hectares;

- Land managed by the military force: 193.22 hectares;

b/ Other targets are maintained under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 1232/QD-TTg of September 7, 2012.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect on the date of its signing. The Ministry of Transport shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with related ministries and sectors and the People’s Committee of Hai Phong city in, implementing this master plan in accordance with regulations on management of investment and construction.

Article 3. The Ministers of Transport; National Defense; Public Security; Construction; Planning and Investment; Finance; Agriculture and Rural Development; and Natural Resources and Environment; the chairperson of the People’s Committee of Haiphong city and heads of related units shall implement this Decision.-
