ON THE AMENDMENT OF POINT A, ITEM 2.2 SECTION II OF CIRCULAR NO. 02/2001/TT-NHNN5 DATED APRIL 4, 2001 OF THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK PROVIDING GUIDANCE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF DECREE NO. 70/2000/ND-CP DATED 21 NOVEMBER 2000 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON THE MAINTENANCE OF THE CONFIDENTIALITY, KEEPING AND PROVISION OF INFORMATION RELATING TO DEPOSITS AND ASSETS PLEDGED BY CUSTOMERS

THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam and the Law on Credit Institutions dated 12 December 1997;
Pursuant to Decree No. 15-CP dated March 2, 1993 of the Government on the assignment, authority and responsibility for the State management of the ministries, ministry-level agencies;
Upon the proposal of the Director of Banks and Non-Bank Credit Institutions Department,

DECIDES

Article 1.To amend point a Item 2.2 Section II of Circular No. 02/2001/TT-NHNN dated April 4, 2001 of the Governor of the State Bank providing guidance on the implementation of Decree No. 70/2000/ND-CP dated 21 November 2000 of the Government on the maintenance of the confidentiality, keeping and provision of information relating to deposits and assets pledged by customers as follows:

The provision of information relating to deposits and assets pledged by customers at request by customers shall be made in accordance with the guidance provided by each organization which accepts deposits and assets of customers or in accordance with the written agreement between the organization which accepts deposits, assets and customers.

Article 2. This Decision shall be effective after 15 days from the date of signing.
