ANNOUNCEMENT
ON SWAPPING THE WEEKENDS DURING HOLIDAYS, LUNAR NEW YEAR IN 2015
According to the Resolution No. 89/NQ-CP dated December 05th, 2014 by the Government on the working session of the Government in November, 2014, Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs announces to administrative agencies, political organization, socio-political organization for implementing the Lunar New Year’s holiday and the swapping of weekends during holidays in 2015 as follows:
1. New Year’s holiday:
Officials and employees in administrative agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations (hereinafter referred to as officials) shall go to work on Saturday, December 27th, 2014 and leave on Friday, January 2nd, 2015. Accordingly, in New Year’s holiday, officials shall have 4 consecutive days off starting from January 1st, 2015 until the end of January 04st, 2015.
2. Lunar New Year’s holiday:
Officials shall have Lunar New Year's holiday from Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 until the end of Saturday, February 21st, 2015 and have the day off on Monday, February 23rd, 2015 (because Saturday – the weekends conciding with the Lunar New Year’s holiday).
On the swapping weekend during Lunar New Year’s holiday, officials work on Saturday, February 14th, 2015 as the replacement for Monday, February 16th, 2015.

3. Hùng Kings’ Festival, Victory day April 30th and International Labour’s Day May 1st:
Officials shall work on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 as the replacement for Wednesday, April 29th, 2015. Accordingly, in this holiday, officials shall have 06 consecutive days off during April 28th, 2015 until the end of May 03rd, 2015.
The agencies, units implementing the Lunar New Year’s holiday and the swapping of weekends during holidays 2015 should arrange officials on duty in the holiday in order to settle works and seriously implement the replacement working day.
The organizations that do not have Saturdays and Sundays off shall schedule their own days off based on the programs and plans.
The Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs issues this Announcement for the convenience of the people and organizations./.
