Re. Extension of time for payment of valued-added tax

To: Lao Cai’s Department of Customs

The General Department of Customs has received the written Report No. 410/HQLC-NV dated March 12, 2013 from Lao Cai’s Department of Customs on difficulties in extension of time for payment of value-added tax provided in the Circular No. 92/2010/TT-BTC dated June 17, 2010 of the Ministry of Finance; on this issue, the General Department of Customs has issued the Official Dispatch No. 1409/TCHQ-TXNK dated March 23, 2012 that gives directions to Departments of Customs of cities and provinces.   It is requested that Lao Cai’s Department of Customs conduct study on implementation of this.
