DECREE

AMENDING CLAUSE 2, ARTICLE 6 OF THE GOVERNMENTS DECREE No. 95/1998/ND-CP OF NOVEMBER 17, 1998 ON RECRUITMENT, EMPLOYMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC SERVANTS

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the Ordinance on Public Employees issued on February 26, 1998;
At the proposals of the Minister-Director of the Government Commission for Organization and Personnel,

DECREES:

Article 1.- To amend Clause 2, Article 6 of the Governments Decree No. 95/1998/ND-CP of November 17, 1998 on recruitment, employment and management of public servants as follows:

"6.2. The ages for male or female applicants must be in the bracket of from full 18 to 40 years old. In cases when an applicant was an officer in the armed forces or an employee in a State enterprise, the recruitment age may be higher but not more than 45 years old".

Article 2.- This Decree takes effect 15 days after its signing. The earlier provisions which are contrary to this Decree are hereby annulled.

Article 4.- The ministers, the heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the heads of agencies attached to the Government, the presidents of the Peoples Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities shall have to implement this Decree .
