DECISION

TO APPROVE THE CREDIT AGREEMENT

THE PRESIDENT OF THE STATE OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Article 103 and Article 106 of the 1992 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Article 19 of the Law on the State Budget of 1996;
Pursuant to the October 17, 1989 Ordinance on the Conclusion and Implementation of International Agreements by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
At the proposal of the Government in Official Dispatch No. 539/CP-QHQT of May 20, 1998,

DECIDES:

Article 1.-. To ratify the credit agreement for the project: "Technical assistance for the Phuoc Hoa combined irrigation system", which was officially signed on April 4, 1998 in Hanoi (Vietnam) between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Asian Development Bank.

Article 2.- The Minister for Foreign Affairs shall have to complete the external relation procedures for the ratification of this credit agreement and notify the concerned agencies of its effective date

Article 3.- This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing.
