DECISION

ESTABLISHING THE HUNG VUONG PEOPLE-FUNDED UNIVERSITY

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to Decree No. 15-CP of March 2, 1993 of the Government on the tasks, power and responsibilities for State management of the Ministries and ministerial-level Agencies;
At the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training (Official Dispatch No.2568-TCCB of July 31, 1995),

DECIDES :

Article 1.- To allow the establishment of the Hung Vuong People-Funded University in Ho Chi Minh City.

Article 2.- The Hung Vuong People-Funded University is a higher- education institution placed under the State management of the Ministry of Education and Training.

It has the legal person status, its own seal and bank accounts.

Article 3.- The Hung Vuong People-Funded University is organized and operates in accordance with law, the Status of People-Funded Universities issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, and its own Statute approved by the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 4.- The Minister of Education and Training, the other Ministers, the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the President of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Presidents of the People's Committees of the concerned provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall have to implement this Decision.
