b) Protection nets of at least 20m in height must be installed on both sides and at the front of each practice lane;

c) Minimal distance between two tees of a lane shall be at least 2,5m;

dd) For driving ranges located in the middle of a lake, the practice area must be separated from the outside by buoys, and warning signage must be provided.

2. For indoor driving ranges:

a) Each driving range must be at least 6m in length, at least 5m in width and at least 3,5m in height;

b) On both sides, at the front and on top of each lane shall be equipped with shock absorbing materials such as nets or foam to ensure that golf balls bounce back no further than 1,5m;

c) For driving ranges with multiple lanes:

- Minimal distance between two tees of a lane shall be at least 2,5m;

- There are protection nets reaching the ceiling between two lanes.

3. Training equipment must meet the requirement stated in Clause 8 Article 4 herein.

4. Driving range regulations shall include types of persons eligible for training, training outfit, training hours, safety measures in relation to training and other regulations.

1. The golf course shall be prepared in accordance with technical requirements, type, characteristics and scale of the competition; and Vietnam Golf Association shall inspect, mark and confirm the difficulty level of the course in compliance with golf competition rules.

2. There is a map of major parts of the golf course such as the tee box, location of each hole, hazard locations and resting area after each round.

3. At any location meeting a road and/or residential area, a fence of at least 20m in height, which shall gradually increase to at least 40m, shall be erected along the course's boundary starting from the tee box to the point 150m away from the tee.

4. Emergency aid and first aid points shall be available in different parts of the course; and movement of ambulances must not be obstructed.

5. Changing rooms and bathrooms must be available.

6. Flags, horns and signage denoting distances must be available.

7. Lightning warning devices and system must be available.

8. Competition equipment must meet requirements of international golf associations.

9. There must be vehicles transporting the competition’s organizers and athletes while the competition takes place.

Article 5. Professional training for golf instructors

1. Vietnam Sports Administration or Vietnam Golf Association shall provide professional training for golf instructors.

2. Vietnam Sports Administration has the power to decide training contents, agenda and schedule.

3. Golf training certificate issued by the training body is valid for 05 years starting from the date of issuance. Sample golf training certificate is provided for in the appendix enclosed therewith.

Article 6. Implementation

1. Vietnam Sports Administration shall provide guidance for implementation of this Circular and inspect such implementation.

2. Culture, Sports and Tourism inspectors shall inspect and handle organizations and individuals organizing golf training and competitions against the regulations of this Circular intra vires.

3. Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Departments of Culture and Sports) of provinces and central-affiliated cities shall organize implementation of this Circular.

2. During the implementation of this Circular, any problem or difficulty arising should be promptly reported to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for consideration and prompt resolution./.
