CIRCULAR
SUSPENSION OF CIRCULAR NO. 31/2022/TT-BTC DATED JUNE 08, 2022 OF MINISTER OF FINANCE ON VIETNAM’S NOMENCLATURE OF EXPORTS AND IMPORTS
Pursuant to the Law on Customs dated June 23, 2014;
Pursuant to the Law on promulgation of legislative documents dated June 22, 2015;
Pursuant to the Law on amendments to the Law on promulgation of legislative documents dated June 18, 2020;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 08/2015/ND-CP dated January 21, 2015 providing specific provisions and guidance on enforcement of the Law on Customs with respect of customs procedures, examination, supervision and control procedures;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 59/2018/ND-CP dated April 20, 2018 on amendments to the Government’s Decree No. 08/2015/ND-CP dated January 21, 2015;
Pursuant to the ASEAN Agreement on Customs signed on March 30, 2012 in Cambodia;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 87/2017/ND-CP dated July 26, 2017 defining functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam;
For the purpose of the Government’s Resolution No. 29/NQ-CP dated March 08, 2022 giving approval for the 2022 version of ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature;
At the request of the Director General of General Department of Customs of Vietnam;
The Minister of Finance of Vietnam promulgates a Circular on suspension of the Circular No. 31/2022/TT-BTC dated June 08, 2022 of the Minister of Finance of Vietnam on Vietnam’s nomenclature of exports and imports.
Article 1. Suspension
The effect of the Circular No. 31/2022/TT-BTC dated June 08, 2022 of the Minister of Finance on Vietnam’s nomenclature of exports and imports shall be suspended for a fixed period from December 01, 2022 to December 29, 2022 inclusively.
Article 2. Transition
During the suspension period, legislative documents and the following regulations shall still remain valid:
1. The Circular No. 65/2017/TT-BTC dated June 27, 2017 of the Minister of Finance on Vietnam’s nomenclature of exports and imports;

Article 3. Implementation
This Circular comes into force from December 01, 2022./.
